Menraj Sachdev || Founder & CEO

Menraj has a vast background in the field of international education. Prior to establishing Zoped Internships, Menraj worked as the Grants Manager at Ayusa, a global youth exchange program.  At Ayusa, Menraj managed a number of long and short term Department of State initiatives including the Tomodachi SoftBank Leadership program — three week course for 300 Japanese high school students affected by the Great East Japan earthquake and tsunami of March
2011.

Previous to Ayusa, Menraj was the Program Development & Quality Manager with Child Family Health International (CFHI), in addition to a consultant with Diversity Abroad.  Menraj has also held leadership positions in the annual Lessons from Abroad conference and is currently acting as an Advisor to the newly established organization.

Menraj holds a Masters of Philosophy from the University of Sydney, Australia for his dissertation titled: Higher Education in a Transition Economy: The Case of India 1991-2003. He obtained his BA in Human Development from the University of California, San Diego in 1999, and participated on the Semester at Sea program in 1996.

Latha Krishnamurthi || Manager of J1 Internship Programs

Latha comes in with 2 plus decades of rich global experience in Recruitment, Training, Counseling, Marketing and Sales. She had successful tenures in India, Singapore and USA.

It is very natural for Latha to attract the best talent. She is a bundle of resource and nerve center of social network. Her confidence and willingness to explore new areas had helped her to shape her career. Prior to joining Zoped Internships, Latha has held managerial positions and consulted independently in helping organizations to find the right talent. Latha also played a crucial role in recruiting students to Zoped Internships sister organization, Zoped Academy.

She is a very active volunteer in her community. In her free time she loves to hike with her family.

Annette PonTell || Director of F1 OPT Programs

Annette is passionate about helping students and professionals succeed across cultures. She graduated with a Bachelor’s in French Literature from UCSB and later received certificates in Teaching English as a Second Language and Copy-editing. Besides traveling extensively, she also lived in France and Brazil. Before joining ZopED Internships, she taught at Intrax (later Stafford House) for over 17 years and also started an online teaching business which has been growing steadily since 2011. Her role at ZopED Internships is to secure interviews and job placements for F1 students who are OPT eligible. She is excited about helping students get the most out of their experiences in the US.

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends. You can often find her cheering on the Golden State Warriors or trying out new restaurants in the San Francisco Bay Area.
